JointValues: Quality Management Policy

1. Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to establish the framework for a System of Quality Management (SoQM) at JointValues. This system ensures that our ESG assurance, consulting, and technological solutions consistently meet the highest professional standards and client expectations. This policy reflects our commitment to reliability, technical objectivity, and the continuous pursuit of excellence in all deliverables.

2. Scope

This policy applies to:

  • All Personnel: Full-time staff, Strategic Drivers, Specialists, and Advisors.
  • All Services: ESG Assurance, Sustainability Consulting, and ESG Technical Solutions.
  • All Processes: From initial client onboarding to final delivery and post-project review.

3. Statutory and Professional Reference

JointValues is committed to developing and maintaining an SoQM aligned with:

  • International Standards on Quality Management (ISQM 1 & 2): For firm-wide and engagement-level quality.
  • ISAE 3000 (Revised): Assurance Engagements Other than Audits or Reviews of Historical Financial Information.
  • ISSA 5000: General Requirements for Sustainability Assurance Engagements and other emerging ESG-specific frameworks.
  • IESBA Code of Ethics: For professional integrity and independence.
  • ISO 9001:2015: For generic operational excellence in quality management systems.

4. Quality Policy Statement

JointValues is dedicated to advancing sustainability with integrity. We are committed to developing, implementing, and continuously maturing an SoQM that provides reasonable assurance that:

  • The firm and its personnel fulfill their responsibilities in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements.
  • All reports, advice, and solutions provided by the firm are technically sound and appropriate for the circumstances.

5. The Eight Components of Quality Management

In alignment with ISQM 1, JointValues operates its quality system through these eight integrated components:

  1. Governance and Leadership: Establishing accountability and a culture that prioritizes quality.
  2. The Firm’s Risk Assessment Process: Proactively identifying and mitigating quality risks.
  3. Relevant Ethical Requirements: Ensuring adherence to independence and professional ethics.
  4. Acceptance and Continuance: Evaluating client integrity and firm competence before onboarding.
  5. Engagement Performance: Applying standardized methodologies and rigorous peer reviews.
  6. Resources: Providing necessary human, technological, and intellectual assets.
  7. Information and Communication: Ensuring transparent data flow to support the quality system.
  8. Monitoring and Remediation: Evaluating system effectiveness and fixing identified gaps.

6. Compliance and Enforcement

Adherence to this policy is mandatory for all JointValues personnel. Non-compliance that compromises the integrity of our work or violates professional standards will be subject to disciplinary action.

7. Review and Update

This policy shall be reviewed biannually or upon material changes in the firm’s operating environment, international assurance standards, or regulatory requirements to ensure its continued suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness.
