Business Partner Opportunity
We invite interest for the position of Business Partner in LLP dedicated to Sustainability Assurance Services in India within the JointValues group. You will contribute to audits, assurance, and certifications where trust matters, upholding no conflict of interest for assurance audits and non-audit services to clients in India.
Your Ownership and Growth:
This is a leadership role reporting directly to the entity’s leadership. Partners in the business will bring synergy with each other, making it possible to convert leads and win the business that they cannot win otherwise. A business partnership deed will ensure rewarding partners commensurate with their business contribution, putting you on equal footing with the founders of the entity considering equity infusion for growth plans. You will have the chance to grow and lead the entity through criteria-based leadership selection from time to time, ensuring meritocracy in the system.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Engage in business development and client relationship management.
- Oversee high-quality project delivery.
- Develop plans and strategies for a healthy sales pipeline.
- Build and grow the practice, cultivating new client relationships.
- Customize project scopes based on client needs.
- Develop and implement marketing plans in collaboration with the team.
- Oversee project delivery, ensuring customer delight.
Competencies:
- Finance background with close to 20 years of experience.
- CXO level relations in corporates and medium-scale companies in India.
- Existing service inquiries in hand that can be converted into business.
- Proven experience in business development in audit and consulting.
- Commercial orientation with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong research, analysis, and communication skills.
- Excellent client management skills and ability to build trusted relationships.
- Ability to self-deliver sustainability assurance engagements.
- Preferably a certified sustainability assurance practitioner.
Educational and Other Requirements:
- Consistent academic excellence.
- Demonstrated leadership in a professional career.
- Undergraduate degree with strong academic performance.
- Preferably an MBA from a top-tier institute.
